Pendulum Equations
Using the following equations, you can compute the period and forces of a simple pendulum.
The variables you will need to solve this problem are represented graphically in Figure 1, below:

To determine the period of the pendulum, simply apply the following equation:
where L is the length in meters, g is gravity (9.08665 m/s² in the metric system), and T is time in seconds.
To determine the force of the pendulum, use the following equation:
where M is the mass in kilograms, g is gravity, and F is force in Newtons.
